Background
As we are aware that Mobile
has changed the entire communication scenario of the World.

that nearly 52 Crores of Indian Population is now connected!!!

And Indian Government is expecting around 70 Crores of Mobile
users by 2012. This will definitely result in very high number
of SMSs
Basics of Idea
- As every mobile operator is busy adding their own users,
why not unite all the users of all the operators under a
single umbrella?
- Why not create Location based Integrated, Interconnected,
Interactive Local Communities?
- Why not establish a Media of these affiliated communities
cooperatively?
- Why not distribute the Power of Media amongst the Self
employed youths of India?
Model
An unemployed youth forms a SMS community of say 1000 mobile
users residing in a local area and serves them with local news
and updates through SMS newsletter which is free for the users
and earns from local mobile advertisers.
Working of Model ...
- Step 1 :
Affiliation with SMSONE
A Young Man (10-12th Failed) having good local contacts
in the society, gets affiliated with us. He is advised to
start Local SMS Newsletter in his area.
- Step 2 :
Collection of local citizens data
He starts making members for Local SMS Community newsletter
by signing a single page Permission Letter from the mobile
users.
75 % of residents & around 25 % of businessman's would be
allowed in one Local SMS Community.
This letter confirms members' willingness to accept the
social SMS and allow promotional SMS.
- Step 3 :
Database management
He will create database of all the members.
Data would be sorted according to Name, Gender, Age, DoB,
Profession, Pin code etc.
He will send XL sheet to TC.
- Step 4 :
Training
He will be trained to operate the SMSOne-Express Software
and how to send bulk SMS. Or TC supports in sending the
messages from its central office too.
- Step 5 :
Actual Implementation
He will start sending free SMS to his members as per their
requirement.
Same time, he will start finding local advertisers through
whom he can recover his free SMS cost and start earning
money.

Communicating with him/her means you are accessing all members

Now just consider, if Self Employed Youth sends a Health Camp
related SMS, then the SMS would be discussed amongst all the
members and the needy members of the house attends the Health
Camp arranged by some NGO. Also they will inform their neighbors
about the health camp.
